EDC Competition team

THIS PROGRAM IS FOR THE DEDICATED DANCERS THAT WANT TO TAKE THEIR SKILLS TO THE NEXT LEVEL. THEY ATTEND 3-4 COMPETITIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, BOTH REGIONAL AND NATIONAL EVENTS! WE ALSO OFFER OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR COMPETITION STUDENTS SUCH AS SPECIAL PERFORMANCES, GUEST CHOREOGRAPHERS, AS WELL AS TRAVELING ALL OVER THE STATES TO SHARE THEIR LOVE OF  DANCE. OUR TEAM IS HELD TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF CONDUCT. DANCERS WILL GAIN A LIFETIME OF GREAT MEMORIES AND FRIENDSHIPS DURING THIS TIME TOGETHER, AND WE STRIVE TO MAKE IT A POSITIVE AND REWARDING EXPERIENCE FOR ALL! THIS PROGRAM IS FOR ANY STUDENT AGE 3 AND UP WITH A TEACHER RECOMMENDATION.

**Competition dancers are selected based on the following:

- Classroom behavior, including the ability to remember choreography and apply corrections

- Proper dance technique, particularly ballet technique

- Skill level, based on age and peer group

- Commitment to practice at home and attend all required events
